Top 4 Canvas + Framing Projects for the Weekend...and More!

From our experience at VancouveronCanvas, we've seen how canvases and frames can be used for more than just art reproduction and prints! In fact, some of the coolest ideas come from just a bit of mix and matching, to give your home a bright new decor piece! Here are some of our top favourites combos that we have found, starting from the bottom:

5) Beautiful Frame + Cork Foamboard = Chic Corkboard

Super popular and super cute, the chic corkboard is a easy to make if you have a beautiful frame and a sheet of cork that fits.

Looking for one for the office, or don't have time to DIY? We can put one together for you! It even comes ready to hang, right out of the box.

2) Frame + Print + Plexi = Dry Erase Flair

Keep organized, while being customized! Having plexi with your frame allows you to change out the background whenever you wish - whether it's a print, a gorgeous wallpaper sample, or even fancy wrapping paper! Collage your own background and individualize your new whiteboard whenever you fancy, keeping your workspace fresh and exciting.

3) Frame + String = Hanging Art Gallery

This is pretty interesting! Double your canvas wall art as sound proofing barriers - simply stuff egg carton foam into the back and hang. For more details, you can also visit the Resources page on our website.

5) Cork Wall

Although this has nothing to do with framing or canvas, we figured we would add it to this post, simply because it looks so fantastic. Simply obtain some sheets of cork foamboard, and mount on the wall using Command wall-mounting sticky tape. The result is stunning, and clears so much for brainstorming and organization!

We hope you've enjoyed some of our favourite projects with canvas, frames and cork! Which were your favourites? Let us know in the comments below!
